We believe in measuring what matters. And also measuring what doesn't matter, just in case it matters later. Here's how we're doing.
Up 47% year-over-year. This is a proprietary metric we developed that measures "how likely a community is to hold a block party." We can't fully explain the methodology, but trust us, it's going up and that's good.
NeighborNet neighborhoods saw a 340% increase in civic engagement, measured by app interactions, event attendance, and "general neighbor awareness," which is a thing we made up but feel strongly about.
Gryzzl Gives correctly anticipated community needs 94.3% of the time. The other 5.7% involved sending winter coats to Tucson, which we're calling a "proactive climate adaptation initiative."
Data Fluency graduates report a 78% increase in their comfort with technology. They also report a 340% increase in their awareness that technology is comfortable with them.
4.8 out of 5 stars. The 0.2-star deficit comes from teens who described the experience as "too accurate" and "it knows things it shouldn't know," which we're categorizing as a feature, not a bug.
A composite metric of reach, engagement, data depth, and "ambient community understanding." Currently at 87.4 out of 100. The remaining 12.6 points represent people who are off-grid, which we're working on.
